Most White kids, don't go University unless its a job REQUIREMENT. For example to be a doctor...

 

But otherwise, why would they need too? Is the general feeling... Get a job, work your way up, and by the time those monkeys are out with their degree, you will have experience and get all their jobs.

 

Black kids go cos we are told it's a CV requirement, and the only way out.

As a white guy who went to university purely as I saw it as a CV requirement for higher paying jobs.

2:1 or First class degree in Computer Science or science based subject (or equivalent)

Strong A-levels including Maths and either Physics, Further Maths or Computing (or equivalent)

Knowledge of Windows operating systems

Experience of scripting including powershell

Knowledge of MicrosofWindowst desktop and server environments

Understanding general email infrastructure

Experience in administering Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and anti-virus

Experience in administering domain security

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience of supporting a 24x7 operation

Altho I did see a couple places state its not essential but nonetheless most mention degree as essential or nice to have.

Not necesserily outrageously smart is also a route.

My old ACS had most of the British blacks involved and not that I asked everyone about their parents professions but a "lot" were from a working class background. Also the amount of people that were getting full bursaries.

It could be different at other unis but I'm pretty sure it's not as clear cut as you make it out to be.
