A world without borders or trade restrictions

Its already more or less already happening over the Internet logically speaking and as you can see, no room for any social structures or labels

Besides, as global catastrophic risks are on the increase humans in general will eventually have no choice but to pattern up or face extinction.

This is no longer some science fiction fantasy, its slowly becoming our reality

I never mentioned anything about increasing a central power

you need to stop thinking on those levels, empire you know smh

I try not to refer to the concept of Globalisation as that notion comes from a primitive standpoint.

all these political and social systems, nationalism, capitalism, right wing, left wing, democracy, communism, socialism etc have no place in contemporary society imo.

The reality here is that modern civilisation is made up of a lot of these so called labels it’s not as clear cut as it was back then when there wasn’t many options or choice, was far easier and convenient to adopt such labels

it’s not a logical viewpoint to adopt these labels when trying to describe the system that we are living in currently imo. If anything it just adds further bottlenecks and slows down progression.

Oh?

How so?

How is this happening over the internet?

and in this world without borders what happens when everyone just attempts to live in the most prosperous places? how does that feasibly work?

I can trade cryptocurrency with Kishore from Bangalore without any government trying to take a percentage in tax, its more or less self governed.

What would you call this particular structure of trade?

Is there even a need to attach a label on to it?

If you look at it logically its the exact same principal as me physically going to India to strike a deal in bananas for example, the only difference is doing it physically will create issues with tax and trade rules between borders etc. Commercially this makes no sense to me

This is more an issue of the distribution of wealth rather than anything else

We currently live in a society where the state looks after the poor and get free healthcare.

I am sure if you suggested this 100 years ago people might think you were a lunatic to conceptualise such a thing

There is nothing far fetch to believe that this issue could be tackled in the future especially with a progressive mindset

The jury is definitely still out whether crypto will succeed in being a viable currency. And realistically if it does governments will be taking their share make no mistake. These ideas are great on paper but lack realism. Governments and banks will reign in anything and anyone if they don't see their cut. They've started to make their move with crypto already.

and how would you plan on fairly disrupting wealth and natural resources across all people, how would you stop financial inequality? This isn't a misdirection I think it's vital to your plan.

Healthcare is not free it costs around £125 billion year to fund the nhs, that comes from us, via taxes. Looking after the poor isn't free either, it's taxation, the welfare bill  in this country is at £264bn.

I kind of get what Badman is getting at

Technology, nationalism, global warming... None of us have any fucking idea what's going to happen 5 , 20, 50 years from now. And its all within our lifetime.

Of course no one has ever been able to predict the future. But 500, 200, years ago, that sort of time frame hardly meant any sort of significant changes to people's way of life. It all mostly remained the same.

The internet is 30 years old. Its impact on how governments are elected is unquestionable. Imagine trying to explain that to people in the early 90s. The iPhone is 10 years old. You can buy a helmet that controls shit with your mind right now for 300 quid.

We're at some mad crossroads right now. That's for sure. Thank you capitalism.

Tax is fraudulent it was only introduced to fund wars, then they got greedy

Without taxes the country can still fund itself don’t let them make you believe otherwise.

how have you come to this conclusion?

\

I agree nobody knows what the future will hold, especially with the rate of evolving technology. I think the human aspect is what's not being accounted for in what badmans discussing.,  tribalism, individualism, greed, corruption  basically human nature.

Research

/

All of them factors and yet we are currently in the position we are now

I believe sometimes we underestimate the potential of the collective human will, we have come so far over the years from that point of view

Brexit though....Just smh :lmao:

100% not happening, worst case scenario by name only and even then we will be back before you know it

@Badman I hear you about the origins of taxes, but this is 2018. Taxes are needed to support public services and infrastructure. The USA way of life is not the one (however, most of their tax goes on their military). The NHS wouldn't be there if taxes were not. Also, with research and the decline of certain diseases, other diseases become just as big an issues (cancer will be reduced, dementia is getting worse) so more research will always be required.

Exactly... Anyone who reads the book Sapiens by that Israeli professor will learn this an actual biological evolutionary inevitability for the human race
