Fabric Nightclub Shutdown

Recommended Posts

it did start with just being closed during investigation, but now they've had their license suspended

sucks

I remember hearing a few years ago that Fabric wasn't doing too well with turning profit, not sure how it is now but I can imagine being shut down for a while will damage them

considering Fabric has always been the most violatingly close door security experience I remember having, I wonder how they'll be stepping it up when they come back

Source? As far as I'm aware it's only been closed this weekend and possibly next.

Drugs are in every major dance music club I've been to.

This but Heaven is quite strict though as they have numerous security/bouncers on the balcony's for 6 hours watching everyone until the rave is over

honestly I don't like the club, but closing down the biggest club in electronic music in the UK sends a message, its furthering the attack on non-mainstream music culture, clubs in general are closing down faster then they're opening

What happened to the great London nightclubs?

Couldn't care less about fabric closing. But SeOne and matter were good spots.. definitely a lack of decent clubs in London

I've never been to Fabric on a night that wasn't Friday. Though I haven't been to Fabric since I was 20.

What were the other days saying?

Rinse vs FWD nights used to be ridiculous. Lines from the club all the way to the station. Couldn't imagine waiting in those lines.
