most good retired english players don't have the respect of europe's elite clubs

back here most of the pl's top clubs are owned by foreigners who equally don't rate ex-good english players so the cycle continues

gerrard has to make it at rangers within 2 years (win at least one title, one or two cups) or he'll start floating around mid table pl clubs or drop to championship clubs like the allardyce, moyes, pulis's, lambert's, bruce's before him
