when he stopped wearing ed hardy and found out about streetwear

That's Not Me times basically

clocked that the old sound was getting popular again

I think it was maybe the Butterz parties that showed him (and others) people were still really feeling "proper" grime

and by proper I mean, grime with beats and bars that sounded like it came from grime and not an offshoot of trap (I think we'll never have back that real old skool aggression that we used to have)

Butterz > Boxed > Mode > Radar > Novelist wearing black Nike track suits > hey presto!

Crazy init.

Same way people over 20 still watch Anime, Manga and that stuff.

Same way people over 20 still pine for UKG.

People over 20 still listen to Hip Hop.

Its almost as if some people can be interested in a certain thing for more than 5 minutes.

Considering when the raves went to an over 18's thing. The likelihood of everyone in there being in the 2 year gap* of 18-20 is not very high, is it?

*Naturally some tasteless underagae pricks would've snuck in too.

I'd personally scrap the minumum age to consume thing and replace it with a maximum age, if you're over 21 and listen to Music you like, 6 months inside for a first offence. That'll learn em.
