for me I just take the plug out, leave it on my usual setting so it's set next time I want to use it.

anyone rotate that dial to turn it off?

Rarely use an Iron in 2017, just use decent fabric conditioners and fold or hang my clothes properly, does the job.

Saying that I don't wear many shirts, I think thats the only item that requires some ironing, and only on visible parts of the shirt :)

i was about to come in a berate you as the above seems like wypipo behaviour

then i realised, it is really only shirts that need iroining and if you hang/fold correck you will not need to iron

Got me a badboy steam one that you need to power up

most clothes dont "need" ironing but there is a noticable difference therefore i iron everything give it that crisp look

T-shirts, jeans and trousers all need ironing. No amount of hanging properly changes that. You man living that creased life.

Unplug iron as standard, swear they don't all have off switches and even if they did it's not an appliance you leave out anyway.
