2 years to source and acquire a premises, source all the fixtures and fittings, kitchen equipment, hire contractors, build out the shop, create the brand, aquire all legal documentation, hire staff....

Sounds about right to me if it's not even your main hustle.

you clearly have no idea of the many hurdles you have to jump over to open a food place

planning permission, bare rules & regs, health & safety, various insurances, various licenses, employees etc the list is endless
