Live by the gram, die by the gram.

The way this guy lived on social media was different. Guy moved reckless, even when he got jumped by Migos.

such a shame. waste of life, my young nephews first introduced him to me a few months ago,

i saw them watching some fights and his insta and I thought wtf is he doing all that shit for.. said the guy doesn't want to live long going on like that.

heard that song "suicide" or whatever its called and thought it was ok but quite dark..

black mental health is a major problem and dont let people deceive you that the music helps... it doesnt, it just takes you away temporarily from the problems that will be there when the music stops playing. Go get help/

those artists most fractured still suffered from their problems if they relied on the music alone.

yes, everything is temporary but thats not the point.

I know figures get inflated when an artist passes away but the number of streams he's getting ATM is nuts

last two albums (17 & ?) have been absolute fire

if you don't know please get to know, great talent tbh, he made me stop being 'snobby' to the new kids and actually listen.

Yeah he had issues, his music dealt with it a lot.

He never came across as a fake roadman to me but meh

Dedrick Devonshay Williams

Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the death of US rapper XXXTentacion.

The suspect, named as Dedrick Devonshay Williams, aged 22, is facing a charge of first-degree murder.

The 20-year-old musician, real name Jahseh Onfroy, was shot as he left a motorcycle dealership in south Florida on Monday and died later in hospital.

Often described as one of rap's most controversial artists, he quickly rose to fame with two hit albums.

He was facing domestic violence charges.

Police have not said whether they are looking for other suspects, but there are reports that another two arrest warrants have been issued.

Meanwhile an elderly couple faced death threats following social media rumours falsely linking them to the rapper's death.

Police are guarding their home after a fan of the rapper posing as a pizza delivery man tried to visit them.

Gina Carter, the public information officer for Broward County Sheriff's Office, tweeted that Mr Williams had been arrested at 19:00 local time (23:00 GMT) on Wednesday in the city of Pompano Beach .

More details of the arrest will be released later, she said.

Mr Williams has also been charged with a probation violation for theft of a motor vehicle and driving without a valid licence, the New York Daily News reports.

Onfroy was leaving the dealership shortly before 16:00 local time on Monday when two men approached him, officials say.

At least one of them shot him before both fled the scene in Deerfield Beach, 43 miles (69km) north of Miami, in a dark-coloured SUV.

Video posted on social media apparently showed Onfroy slumped in his car. A witness told celebrity news website TMZ that multiple shots had been fired outside the dealership.

The Broward County Sherriff's Office had offered a $3,000 (£2,200) reward for any information about the killing
