I had cod n chips tonight for under a fiver, was suspicious as fuck, but it niced me.

Average London prices are around £6-£8. Its only places like Ollys that tries to bump guys with their South London Press awards banners

I've had fish an chips in every chippy in every area ive lived in London

From wandsworth to beckenham to central, I've paid the best part of a tenner for good fish and chips

At £10.80, its too much but at under a tenner, very acceptable

If its under a fiver I really don't believe it was any good

place is in Penge, always dissed it as thought quality would be shit, but after my normal place in clock house did me dirty I gave it a try.

Sizes/cost seemed abit suspect but there was zero issue re consumption/quality

Only for the chips and their version of curry sauce. i like both but it was a chinese chippy in grove park where I had my first curry sauce. Brilliant

Their fish dont bang but the chips are consistently good where as traditional chippy to traditional chippy there's alot of variation

Two best garlic sauce i ever had. One was aioli at Fish Club in clapham when it was open and a bossman shop by beckenham junction. Its home made and packed to heaven with garlic
