I hear this, but it's always said as if it's a negative thing. Not being the best player in the world isn't a a always a bad thing. 

Pogba is comfortably our best player, surrounded by absolute dogshit. Football is a team sport and you surround a good player who isn't playing to their best with other good players...and you start to see if a different player. 

In my lifetime I've never seen a one man team win anything of note (I hear maradona did, but even then doubt he was surrounded by the likes of smalling and young types).
