This is actually nuts. 

Always thought drones were disabled from flying in close proximity to the airport (5 miles). Looks like  non commercial ones.

Something so little causing major chaos. It could have been worse, chemical attack or something wild.

Each time the airport get ready to reopen the runways one pops out to say hello.

How are they not able to trace back the transmitter though...I don't understand why it is taking this long!!

Has anyone mentioned this is a sideshow to the Brexit mess so that the MPs can slide off to their xmas break without the backlash of leaving the country in a mess?

I have a Mavic air and if you use the official app DJI GO4, it will not allow you to fly in 'no fly zones' unless you get that specific region unlocked. And even then you are only granted access for a few days.

People under the flight path for LGW were saying they could hear planes yesterday evening/night....I don't think this is as plane cut (see what I did there) as they make it out to be
