I watched it by Ukrainian SO, who tried to avoid this topic for a decade. Finally she admitted that it was good thing she did and got lot off from her shoulders.
Chernobyl happened because of faulty system(governmental) that was put in place.
After watching this, I was surprised to see that in Transformers:Dark Of The Moon, they depicted the Chernobyl nuclear facility as it is today. Very authentic!
Series overall was uplifting in the end, but hard to watch, tears you down
