The other day you said you get bored of watchign England games so dont really take much notice of them.Dont lie.
No i actually said something along the lines of this -After watching England fail and let me down over years and years, being a Tottenham fan is bad enough, but to be let down by your country as well is not worth it. I will still obviously want them to win, but they wont get the passion they once did from me.And thats all i said...About i chat "bare sh*t" about England...........please?

I support england when they play however I cant say I care too much anymore.England will qualify for euro 2008. McClown will still be in charge, we'll fail miserable and so the circle continues. club football is alot better than international though.

Every European Championship and World Cup we have had a "squad capable of winning" biggrin.gifThis has been the case for decades. Some people used to say England flop cos "too many Irishman and Scots" :D

England are not a big international team. They are jus overrated by the media and alot of their fans because of the individuals in the squad. Individually they deserve the hype they get but as a team they are not even close to being the best international team.Brazil, Argentina, Italy, Germany, Spain, France, Portugal and Czech Republic are all better then England in my opinion. Then you have teams like Mexico, Holland, Turkey and Ghana who are close to England if not on the same level.

Wow! thats poor all the hype and no trophies, actually must have known this deep down cause if England won a under 8 tournament it would be all over the media and talked about for the next 10 years. England could have won italia 90, Euro 96, Euro 2000, WC 2002 and the last world cup and only missed out with a combination of Penalties, Bad refereeing and a freak (but intentional) goal from Ronnie. My point - apart from the 1990 team who I don't know much about none of those teams were the best but came very close to taking the gold. Any number of teams can win a world cup now. Brazil were the best team 94, France had home turf and Ronaldo monging out before the final 98, 2002 was a sham and Italy 06 we're lucky. England could easily win a world cup despite not being a great team cause there isn't a great team or emerging great team in world football. U21s have a good chance.

England should have won something by nowIts down to the managers imo, they have a good selection of players but never seem to get the system right. Also I blame players who aint raised their game, people like Ameobi, David Dunn, Jeffers, J Lloyd Samuel etc, them sort of players who were U21 regulars & touted as future England internationals have drifted into obscurity..
