Looking to do the same thing tbh. I'm even tempted to cancel one of my O2 simplicity contracts and go to sh*t Tmobile for the phone. How much did you get your 9700 for though?
I got the bold 9700 bought it offline and put an o2 simplicity sim in with the free bb web bolt on, it arrived yesterday so haven't had it too long but so far so good. I am used to using an 8300 which i had through work and this one obviously is a lot better. CNET.co.uk did a good review of it got 8.8 they said its the best bb to date but they were just saying that its not as fun as iphone and the browser is not all that, i personally haven't had any problems with it. Menus and interface are fast and sharp, loving the trackpad in comparison to the ball which i never really liked to be honest. I only got a bb because i can't access hotmail at work so thought it would be ideal to have my hotmail emails on my phone. If you wanna know anything else about the phone just holla.Anyone got the Bold 9700?If so what do you make of it? And are there any other new Blackberry's dropping soon? -

Got two O2 simplicity contracts and i'm happs. Used one with the iPhone 3G and 3GS and had no 3G internet problems. The only thing I hate O2 is that you cant have voicemail AND missed call notifer active at the same time, that and sometimes I get missed calls when I blatently have my phone on, in front of me with full network coverage.Other then that, go for it

Just purchased this, lets see if it lives up to the hype.

The iPhone 3G and 3GS will go on sale at Orange on 10 November, some weeks earlier than expected. That day will also see Phones4U join Carphone Warehouse in stocking the handset.A note of caution for those with an O2 iPhone tariff grudge to bear: it is being claimed Orange will not significantly undercut O2's rather exorbitant prices. Orange UK CEO Tom Alexander has already said it will be looking to offer bundles with an alternative focus, rather than drastically slashing price. In other news....Kevin Russell, chief executive of the UK's smallest network, 3, said last week he expects to be stocking the device sometime next year also.
