most 720p sets can output 1080iil break it down for you:720p shows video frames at the full size of 1280 x 720whilst 1080i basiccly makes the machine work harder to output a 1920 x 1080 by having to keep showing top half of the frame and bottom half of the frame and keeps sticking it together.this is important for games like forza or gta , cause they wont look as half as good if you dont see in full frame.

the ds is SICK.BUT...when God of War : Chains Of Olympus comes out on psp , this game will sh*t on every ds game there is.they've unlocked the psp and set it to operate at maximum speed just for this game so thatswhy i might cop an extra psp battery along with the game.

id stick with 360 if your looking forward to gta4 cuz of the episodic contentbut still if you dont mind ninja gaiden and games like prince of persia then get the ps3.ps3 caters everything except the best shooters
