I ve no idea what a DNS cache or server is , but surely formatting and installing windows XP would have 'flushed' it ? and I m with TalkTalk , same with you nuckinfutz ?

i didnt have audio driver , but now i do , because it says their name in device manager , plus i can hear music in windows media player , which i couldnt before so i must have the drivers installed .

I formatted and installed xp , but google still doesn't load , so am i right in thinking that this must be a problem with my ISP ?i did think it was a virus but it's impossible that i would get a virus , re install windows , then get the exact same virus from the time i was on the internet to downloading firewall . . .

I've installed the graphics drivers and the sound drivers , and restarted . the sound works , but i cant see the small speaker icon in the bottom right corner which you click on to control the volume level . how can i make this appear ?thx in advance

thanks , i tried it , no luck . i am installing xp today , not just because of this but vista is just useless anyway . UAC is ridiculous , even when i turn it off , it warns me that i should turn it on every time i log in . and certain files that need to be deleted in order for me to reinstall a program , it doesn't let me delete them . and you can try everything it wont work . . .

the teaching of the Koran do not breed 'insular and backward social retards' , if anything some asian cultures may not work in the west and cause people to turn out as you said , although this does not apply to all asians or Muslims . but to say it is down to the teachings of the Koran is a ridiculous statement .
