I've been lucky in my life that no one really close in my life has ever passed. But when that day comes (if it ever comes who knows I might be gone before anyone close) I don't know how I'd handle it.All my grandparents passed well before I was born. I just got one grandpops and his aged big time, it might be him that's when I'll know what funerals and deaths are all about.

I don't think it's about being friends. When I grew up and stopped chilling with the d*ckheads who thought they were ghetto and would boy him for nothing I learnt about life and I understood respect.I respected the fact he was a human being with feelings and put myself in his shoes, thats when I'd be on some superman flex and step to mans who'd boy him for nothing in front of me. The reason for this topic was I still I feel bad that I played a part in when mans boyed him for being near them and at times I might have been the one who told him move off cos the rest of the mans didn't want him standing there. I'm glad I tried to make up for it when I used to tell mans to ease him up but I don't know whether that really makes up for anything.On a side note: Funerals, this probably sounds selfish but when you go to one you ever think shiiiiT boy one day that'll be me going in that hole and what have I done with my life?

LOL thieving pens are a pisstake. I always lend a pen to my mate at work but I know full well I've not lent it, it'll be hers to keep cos she chews the lid then looks at me and goes 'oops'.So I've learnt, stocked up on bare bic biros and always carry three, so if I lose one I've still got two more, one more to lend and one to use! I'm glad the company forks out for them and not me otherwise this sh*t would be costing me.I love it when we have massive campaigns or projects at work, bare stationary comes in, one hour later it's all either in my pocket or in my draws. During these times I'll have one pen on me on my way to work and then when I reach home and empty my pockets 15 just appear out of nowhere.

I turned up out of a respect thing. I never disliked the kid and I was never a bully, if anything I defended him more than picked on him but still that's not enough cos the times I was badmind it must have left man small. After the initial twatish behaviour on my part I realised I'm no different, I'm any neek too, I still am!I feel for them man who rinsed him 5 years non stop and had nerve to attend his funeral.

Was at same college. One Monday morning we turn up to find he passed in his sleep, man had Meningitis or something but they didn't find out till it was too late. So it was all kind of sudden.He used to get picked on cos he wasn't 'cool', he just didn't fit in. He'd try to make an attempt but socialising with people wasn't his strongest quality. So people used to take it to another level, give him grief, make him the butt of the jokes etc.I can remember quite a few incidents still involving him. Revs is right people change, not only after secondary school but just as your grow through secondart school cos when some mans used to pick on him for nothing I used to step in on his behalf. Whereas when I was younger I probably would have laughed in his boat and thinking about it how small would man felt?

So I was with one of my boys earlier just rollin like normal, so then we started discussin time back in the day. So he brought up the secondary school we was at and somehow we raised up a conver about one kid at school with us. Man used to get picked on nuff by everyone, I'm sure even I used to just air him out and tell man to move off sometimes. As good as most our school year used to bully him. Man used to have very few friends so when he tried coming near the 'well known' peeps he used to get told to know his role. Man was like an outcast.So while discussin him my boy drops "yeah he had a good turnout... was given a good send off for his funeral innit". I stopped for a second and thought raahhhh man passed and an he was same age as me (he passed about two and a bit years back, only 16 or 17), I went to the funeral as well as pier others who we were at school with.Basically point of the topic is, would you see it as hyporcitical for all the mans (including me) who used to air him out / pick on him to attend his funeral? AND You ever felt badmind for doing something like picking on someone or saying something and then regretting / realising later on you can't make up for it at all?

Cool, so it looks like they're not very good then from what you're both saying.My problem is with my wireless right now, it's being a pain in the ass, connection keeps dropping and picking up when it feels like and net speed keeps fluctuating.I got told the Powerline Adaptors may be a way around it and heard was told you could encrypt the connection but it's not reliable or easy to connect I may have to look to an alternate.

I don't usually do these FAO topics and I know it should be in the Electronics Den but I'm more likely to get a better response here. I wanted some help with networking...Anyone know anything about or even use Powerline Ethernet Adaptors? Are they more reliable than wireless networking? Have there been any problems with the Powerline adaptors?What is the best Powerline Adaptor to go for?Any help is appreciated.
