  1. It may be because it's quite a harsh ingredient that is known to be a skin irritant and used also in detergent, engine degreasers etc.You could start off with more commercial shampoos that are sulfate free such as Organix. It has a limited range in Boots, but way more choice on amazon and sometimes TK Maxx have the alternatives to boots. Naked is also quite good and is sold in Boots and I think Sainsburys are stocking the range now.In terms of the natural stuff, there's bentonite clay, african black soap (can be drying depending on ur hair type and/or the quality used), rhassoul clay .There's a few natural shampoos from Neal's Yard, although they are quite pricey and bentonite clay is also best purchassed from there if you choose that option. ( It's multipurpose as well, great for use as a face mask)The Anita Grant website also does a range of good quality shampoo bars.

  2. I weaved and braided my hair all by myself (I wanted micro braids but used the cheats method of only braiding the hairline and weaving the rest). My arms are killing me, but now that I know that I can do it myself, I will never pay a hairdresser to do my hair again (unless it's a treatment... and even then).
Do you have any tutorials or anything for this.I'm pretty self sufficient with doing my hair but the only thing I cant do is weave and tired of my usual style. I absolutely refuse to go to a hairdresser and I can't get on board with those american hair care forums to learnI need to protect my hair cos northern winters are a joke.
  3. does anyone use castor oil for hair growth? it's meant to be quite good
I use the clear one. It's really good for the thickness and moisture retention to define my curls.Do you know about the Jamaican Black one, where you can get it in the UK? Meant to be much better
  4. Has anyone tried Barry M 119 (baby pink) nail polish? Maybe I'm putting it on wrong, but it's streaking and giving me headache just like the yellow one.
Yep. both colours work just fine for me.Streaking usually disappears if I shake the bottle hard and then apply a medium-thick coat . just have to be extra careful with my hands (or do nothing lol) for the next half hour or so
  5. im guessing that's the bit they ask for if you want to apply for means tested finance, so you could probably get more money dependent on the income of someone who may be financially supporting u now. dont remember seeing worded like that on my form tho.and it's not too late to get ur money by sept.

  6. I never got my Naf Naf jacket :D
    Neither did I...
I see one yout wearing a MICHIGAN jacket earlier todayreminded me of back in the day for a bit
Always wanted one of those but I was too young and female :D :D
  7. if you dont want me to stare, dont show them off..
really can't argue with that, altho I'm pissed cos I'm kind of in the same boat as you LuLu with v-necks complementing my figure a lot more than high cut tops. I've found a way to wear them tho, whilst keepin my decency intact. But in answer to ur question, it really does irritate me differentlly, 'specially at work when Ive got on a shirt friggin buttoned up to my neck.
