Love Southern Hip Hop. u ever check the huntsville/block beataz thread out? posted some mixtapes from alabama. similar production style etc.. sped up..screwed. chopped etc etc All of G-Side's albums are essential listening, the influence they've had (along with that whole Huntsville scene basically) over a lot of the new rap that's coming out (Asap Rocky, Main Attrakionz, Young L etc) is plain to see. / As far as Asap Rocky's concerned, I can see potential there, but nothing he's put out so far has grabbed me in any major way. I'll be keeping an ear open to his future work though, cause I've got the feeling he could put out something really good at some point.
