Exactly. Ive heard artists say money is in performances.corse it is, but bare times they dont wanna pay unless your names Rhianna and u got some deep music lawyer who does everything for you,When your self established they try mug u off 24/7 not pay u say u were doing it for the people but they keep the money for themselves.Well known thing to cats in america who were hustling to get big in the hip hop game.Music industry is absulotely one of the most fakest industries ive ever seen. What annoys me is thats theres no balance, we only get fed this watered down bullshit, most the real music doesnt even get on TV. So much good sh*t n people with talents just get air pie because there not being fake...n represent what musics really about Expressing YOURSELF using your own sound and originality.Rather than just tryna sound like someone for the fame n money which is what alot of musically involved guys are about, n then on there tunes claim there real, its just a joke.. my boy works for sony, and i use to go to the british academy of new music n use to suck so much knowledge from my tutor who worked for chesney hawks its unreal. So i assure you im talking real.If im mad, go bred universal for a deal n get your ass violently raped no loss of mine.Ask any clued up person on the industry. Who isnt overcome by the fakeness n fame.LMAO @ moaning about the music business because their main priority is business...And please, don't try to test me on music business knowledge...lol, why cause your signed n u know whats good?i dont care how much you claim to know. Music industries f*cked anyone claiming the majors come real are just blind n idiots to be straight.corse im gonna moan about the music business.Music shouldnt even be a business. Now it is atleast make it fair n not full of watered down bullshit so its breeds guys like you who seem to think music and business go together fine.that is the product of not a real musician.Ive experienced nuff to see how it is. From when u say im mad, i just know you'll be sitting on the shelf with man like souljah boy in years to come.if u were real about the industry you'd be agreeing with me.Lol, why don't you exhale and put the catcher's mitt down for a minute son...At the end of the day, placing the blame solely on the majors, quite frankly is a bitch move...Radio, fans, artists, producers, DJ's etc have all contributed to the current circumstance. Now, with ANYTHING, chances are if you want big-time success, you will have to compromise. Deal with it. You want to be a purist, that's your decision. have a coke and a smile and keep it moving but do not assume that because one wants to attain success on a mainstream level, s/he is not 'real'.And WTF is THAT supposed to mean? 'Real'?You sound like one of those 38yr old 300 pound rappers who attend nights in rural areas called ''Fresh Freestyle Friday's'' and listen to nothing but MF Doom, Ras Kass & Pharcyde...nah im just real b, Real with Life, Real with my Music.n i hate how hip hop is now, its f*cking sh*t n all these mugs just defend the industry when its sh*t. The people who made the industry that way are the major labels. Its all linked together what the major radios play is only by the major corporations its all links n connections so that ultimately the main stream music turns out to be bullshit give or take the odd person who ends up with something decent to say for themself, dissappearing like bob marley, john lennon and tupac.if you dont know what Real means.....sh*t no wonder were going wrong in this discussion..Im not gonna bother explaining cause the level of intelligence for you to come out with that really just makes me wanna air u.ohand Ras Kass and MF DOOM >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>MOST Main stream rappers. From time you use the term 'real' countless times in your argument and can't back it up, then you're taking away any credibility you have in your own argument...No-one here is 'defending' the corporate side of the industry per se but you're coming here without a balanced argument therefore people are questioning what you're saying. And it's funny you mentioned 2Pac, going on like he never compromised. -
R.I.P...My Mum pisses me off differently, I hate her guts sometimes but if she went, boy...Weren't you and your mother close?

Am I f*cked in the head for being comfortable and linking ends when you know violence and sh*t goes down...Like, I'll roll through the endz when it's late and sh*t and feel at ease...Not even just London, I was doing this in NYC last year too, just walking through Spanish Harlem (during the day though, I'm not gangsta).I dunno, maybe we've just been conditioned.

2001 was the sickest instrumental LP ever...However, beg people don't talk about Dre being over-rated because The Chronic eats most of the HH albums mentioned here alive...
