i play alto, but i prefer the lower octave at the momenti think my saxophone is broken, the higher octave sounds out of tunehow could my mum give it to my sister, when i was in the first yr of uni, i wasnt gone 2 seconds and she gives it to the destroyerthen everyones tryin to call me selfish, i asked her, what if i gave her u stupid flute what then? no replynow ive got to spend money tryin to fix ity clarinet tho, y not sax?the notes on the clarinet are different innit, like the finger positionstakin up sax was easy in that way because i played the recorder in primary school, its the same jus more notesthing is, i'd like to start with the Clarinet, then move on to the Sax, and then eventually the Flute, i've got my whole life to do this right?a friend of mine is takin up Trumpet and then eventually gonna move onto the Cornet, and i kinda want something with a lot of range (Clarinet) that can deliver those really high shrill notes, but then play low as well, much like the Sax, that way we can create a nice balanceplus, it's all about havin that one-away instrument cos then your more hirable as a performer/musician, one guy told my friend to learn French Horn if you wanna earn bucks cos no-ones playing 'em at the moment
