Emirates Cup is postponed until 2013 Arsenal Football Club has announced that its usual pre-season curtain-raiser, the Emirates Cup, will not be held in 2012, due to London’s hosting of the Olympic Games. After consultation with the major London stakeholders and agencies, the Club has accepted that the Emirates Cup cannot take place during the same period in which the Olympic Games are being staged. The London 2012 Olympics are being held in many venues across London between 27th July and 12th August. Due to the planned start of the 2012/2013 football season, the Emirates Cup could have only been held within this window of time. Arsenal Chief Executive Ivan Gazidis said: “Although we are disappointed that we cannot stage the Emirates Cup in 2012, we completely understand and accept the situation. Over 100,000 people have attended the Emirates Cup each year since we introduced the competition in 2007, and this would have only added to the demands on London’s infrastructure during the Olympics. Of course, we would have preferred the Emirates Cup to have been staged in 2012, but we completely respect the situation and like everyone, are fully supportive of, and looking forward to a successful London 2012 Olympic Games.” Arsenal intend to hold the Emirates Cup as usual in 2013. Gazidis continued: “We are already planning ahead to bring three high profile clubs to Emirates Stadium for 2013.” The Club also revealed it is exploring options for a pre-season tour next summer. Gazidis said: “After the success of our Far East tour in July 2011, we are looking at a number of options. The calendar is complex but we hope to be able to confirm our plans soon.” All further developments regarding the Club’s pre-season activities will appear on Arsenal.com and in all official Arsenal publications.

There was no thought process behind it to be honest, iv put every game (both teams to score) on a couple times and both times 1 team let me down..so instead i chose to pick the 5 lowest odds games and put them in a 5fold to see what the odds would be. / Little story about what i witnessed saturday afternoon that got me thinking. my uncle, knowing about my bet wins introduced me to a man in the pub on saturday who is a full time gambler.. he was an electrician by trade and worked on a rich bankers house who he also had family connections to who sold his side business for a few mill and retired..this banker was also very good with computer software programming.. anyway this banker made some software which compared 100s of variables to do with horse racing which the bookies simply can not do (they can maybe concider 10 possible advantages due to ground, past races etc)..this system of average would bring out a loss loss loss win loss loss loss win....but the wins would be higher odd outsiders e.g 14/1 shots and every race would have £50 on it...after a while this banker got banned from every bookie he kept collecting from and every online websites he had an account with so he started spreading this software to people he could trust not to mess around with it..everyone that uses the software has to take there profit at the end of each month and give the banker 25% of what ever they made.. he has currently got 200 people using the software...the man i met in the pub told me on average he makes £5000 a month, sometimes more sometimes less and after 2 years of doing it only 1 month has he ever made a loss, which was £2500 and on that month the rich banker gave him £2500 as he didn't want him to stop using the software.. i sat in the pub on saturday watching his laptop screen..the software sent thru the name of the race, time, which bookies to take the bet with and which horse to bet on 10 minutes before the race started..the pub guy would then put £50 on it..i sat there and watched him win just over £2000 (profit) in about 15 races, he shown me his 'history' which proved he had put £50 on every single horse race on that day..something like 52 races (some were e/w so £100).. also shown the profit from the previous month which was £6750 of which he had to give £1687 to the banker and just think if the other 200 people put on £50 the same way pub guy did..the banker would of recieved 337k Guy doesn't work anymore and still drives a brand new BMW M5..the software has a lock on it which only the banker can unlock..the pub guy would have to ask the banker if he would let me use the software but he said he would say no because of my age..for the software to work you have to literally give you life to the laptop and bet on every single race or else you may lose 3 in the row then miss the race when the 20/1 horse is tipped and wins... he told me to come back in a few years when iv got some life experience and talk to him again.. my uncle said he's got houses all over the place which he rents out and he is also now banned from a lot of the bookies aswell. Got me thinking about the opportunities out there to make serious money if you have the connections, just have to mix with the right people.. i wouldn't of believe the story if someone told me but i saw the name of the horse come thru on the software, where to place the bet and watched him win £2000 over 15 races with couple big priced horses winning or placing.
