The way this game seems to have caused a nationwide shortage of Arcade Sticks is mad...I wouldnt mind having another one, but I cant find any for less that £59 http://www.edirectory.co.uk/pf/880/mia/d/h...60/pid/31846754 £69.98I think lots of people might have to end up waiting a while... unless they are willing to fork up £59 +

I blew the dust off my Hori yesterday.... hopefully Shopto comes correct and I'll get it on Thursday

first pic is sick and lol @ the beanplant on the granny's head; that should be an achievement or somethingI really like the game though but it can be really frustrating at times though, with pedestrians getting in your way and the difficulty of some of the challengesit has a pretty high learning curve especiially if you didnt play the first one

A Map Preference system - basically you can select you favourite map and least favourite map, and when you attempt to join games you'll have a slightly higher chance of getting your favourite map, lower chance of getting your least favourite... i actually wish CoD4 had this tbhAbility to save Kill Cam replays and also records matches like the theater in Halo 316 vs 16 / 32 v 32 - anything higher than the 9 v 9 we already have will doMore guns, more maps, more camos for guns, more attacthments for guns ( I dont want to see floods of m16/p90 users this time around)New perks - a double weapon attatchment perk etcBetter matchmaking or whatever they use (i.e. not putting me in games with 1 minute remaining or where the connection doesnt allow me to hit a stationery target)

Just got this to kick off 09 (been playing wayy too much Guitar Hero)...Hopefully it'll tide me over till late February and beyond

Has anyone here preordered any of the sticks... was contemplating it then i saw theseMad Catz Xbox 360 Street Fighter IV Arcade FightStick Tournament Edition (Xbox 360) = £149.99http://www.amazon.co.uk/Street-Fighter-Arc...0944&sr=8-3Mad Catz Xbox 360 Street Fighter IV Arcade FightStick (Xbox 360) = £69.99http://www.amazon.co.uk/Catz-Street-Fighte...0944&sr=8-2I understand the price being kinda steep for the Tourney one because of the whole direct from Arcade unit/Sanwa parts stuff but I wasnt really them to be that pricey. Is anyone actually going to preorder any? Or is it a gonna be a Hori EX2 thing?

I'd like to think something for the 360 but that image with the "power logo" bears no weight... That power logo is universal... its on everything almost anything with an on button (remotes, PCs, stereos etc)Plus, its not even the same shade of greenEdit: Oh sheit.. didnt even notice the memory card bit... wonder when they are gonna give the info on this

Okay fair do's lol... she got in my way and got my killed by that Chainsaw wielding thingBut at least shes Better than Ashely from RE4... protecting her was a constant chore
-
I dont think you get banned for demos... I've downloads a few demos early from the Japanese Marketplace and I haven't gotten in to any trouble with MS.Game is very sick by the way, plays exactly RE4, looks a lot better, and the AI is reasonably helpful

No need for a modded xbox or a Jap Gold Account... just done this and its working for me.

The music changes within the battle and not not every fight has the same music.. if you're doing well it changes to a more triumphant tune... if you're doing bad it changes to a more "you destined to fail tune"The story of this game takes a while to build up, but theres no shortage of action and fighting on the way

Kinda hard to say... what did you get bored with? 2 Discs

Two of my favourite Game introsStar Ocean on the Snes...I was taken aback when I first saw or more like, heard this... Very impressive for a SNES gamesLost Odyssey on the Xbox 360... a seamless transition from A fully pre-rendered cutscene straight into a battle... was stunning to watch

Guitar Hero: World Tour... i've finished it but i'd really like to tackle the harder difficultiesThe Last Remant.... 20 hours in still on Disc one... shitloads to do*resumes spectating*
-
Rockband... Has the better Soundtrack in my opinion... it also has more downloadable contentBut the new Guitar Hero is good... good thing the instruments for both games are cross compatible so you can get both if you cash can stretch that far
-
lol That's a tough one...Lost Oddysey was pure old school goodness, like how Final Fantasy was and should be. At the moment Lost Oddysey is still tops for me, but The Last Remnant could change that... it offers a lot to the plate but is just bogged down with slowdowns etc

Just thought I'd let you lot know how the game is since I seem to be the only guy playing it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Last_Remnant#GameplayThe game is decent so far and its set to be very lengthy (my guess is 30+ hours), there's a lot to do already with guild tasks, quests and general exploration and thats only the first discThe battle system is good and unique at that. Its turn-based but on a much larger scale. You can control a maximum of 5 Unions each containing 5 Units; so thats a maximum of 25 characters under your control. However. in order to simplfy everything, you dont give each unit a command, but instead give the Union a generic command (for example Attack, heal, stand-by etc) so they all do the same or similar actions. This adds a strategic feel to the gameThe story is a slow one however, but it begins to pick up as you progress...cant go into much detail as I'm still playing throughhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Last_Remnant#PlotThe reviews of the game haven't been so great though. Gamespot gave it a 6.5 however Famitsu gave it 38/40. They mainly mark it down due to the technical performance. There's a lot of framrate issues, texture pop-in etc, but to be honest, if you've played any other game that use the Unreal 3 Engine, you're probably used to seeing them inconsistancies there. Plus, this are reduced if you instal the game as well. To end (lol), if you lilke turn-based games as well as games that have a strategy element this is the game for you
