Ravel Morrison is keen to follow in the footsteps of Cesc Fabregas after the young midfielder has been linked with a move to Arsenal.
The Wythenshawe-born England Under-17 international has become the target of Arsene Wenger following a array of excellence displays at reserve and youth level.
Morrison, Who can play anywhere along the midfield may not be the big transfer many Gunners fans crave, the youngster has every intention to write his own name into the club's folklore.
"My dad brought me up as an Arsenal fan and I have been going since I was young. I even went to a few games last season. It is all a bit surreal being linked with Arsenal but we'll see what happens in the coming months," Morrison told The Guardian.
"I have always been a big fan of Cesc Fabregas, He is someone I look up to as a great player and a great leader.
"He is a player I can learn a lot from and I will be looking to follow in his footsteps."
