help me innit f*cked up 1 of my pcs the 1 wid all my files onbasically i installed xp sp2 which i hate n it made my sound go (installed it cos i needed the latest itunes so i cud unlock that schopid phone)so i uninstalled sp2 cos i need my sound. now my computer wont startup just sum black screen after the windows logo comes up and then it just restarts itself.help man. i need to get the files on there otherwise id just reformat it/dash the ting in the bin but i lost my usb stick too so im f*cked maybe

Do a REPAIR install. Dont delete any partitions and it wont delete your files in your documents. It will just delete your WINDOWS folder.Follow this guide if need be. Skipping STEP 3How to Perform a Repair Installation of Windows XP& allow SP2 when SP3 is out...
are you saying you can reinstall windows on the same partition it previously was, without deleting any files stored in that same partition in my documents or desktop for example?
