bit late coming but still.currently - womens singles finalxinfang vs ning ning leading 1 games to 0, 2nd game xie is winning 5-1earlier korea took the bronze in mens double, game was tight but lee & hwang took it 2-1 against the danes.

what an amazing final game.Ning opened up a 7pt lead at 13-6, but Xie stepped up and equalled it to 15-15. Begin the tense point each battles, every shot cheered. Ning up 17-16, and managed to get a crucial point due to Xie hitting the net. At 18-16 Ning really showed her quality. Had 3 Gold Medal points, and Xie again hit the net on the final rally. Ning of China becomes the first ever player to sucessfully retain Gold in badmintion. Silver goes to Xie Xangfang who did extremely well to reach the final and played brilliantly in it but came undone to the veteran. Quality match.
