Basically, if I want to start my own entertainment company slash record label, properlyWhat are the essentials I need to do in terms of legal stuffI want to have a website for the label, the domain names are available..Do I just Trademark the name and register the domain name?

If you wanna do it properly you'll need to do the stuff you mentioned but Id' advise you to check on the company house website to see that nobody else already has the trading name you intend to use already registered to them. Your good to go then.Their are companies that will sort out registering for you in a matter of hours and send you your company certificate within 24 hours. Once you've got your certificate or comany register Number you can go to banks and apply for a company account. I'd check out some of the free guides on the business link website regarding tax etc so you're aware of how much you're expected to pay etc.
