Do you need to have a high powered desktop to be able to use it?

My boss just wants to edit home made videos on his computer but he doesn't want to spend more than like £300. He just wants to add captions and merge together a few video clips that's all.

Windows movie maker, will do a basic job. Simple to use.

Dunno if that guy would want to use warez but for something more complex you could use Sony Vegas.

Final cut or adobe premiere..

Imovie for starters. You can pull of some genius stuff on it. Especially the one on the new iLife

Sony Vegas is the one for PC

Premiere is too complicated for the simplest of sh*t
