Get it checked out. Same happened to me, first 3 or 4 months I just thought it was a strain or a pull and carried on - cos that's what my doc told me. Then found out I prolapsed some discs and if they're badly prolapsed it can cause you a lot of trouble and pain. Because I didn't know and I carried on my back just got worse and worse.Do a straight leg test and if you struggle or are in pain then check it out.

Only got in to NFL this season and now I'm on this. Got an Uncle in Tampa who goes to the games regularly and watches a lot of American Football, was having an American style Superbowl party in his ends, joketing. He told me that he had the Patriots and Green Bay making the Superbowl, only Green Bay and Rodgers made it though Brady was on fire, he came up short against the Jets. Even though Packers were number 6 seed all week he's still been telling me Rodgers and the Packers defence is being underestimated and they will win this. Rodgers didn't disappoint. Clay Matthews was a beast even though Shields and Woodson got injured. Surprised neither team rushed as much as they could have done, it cost Pitsburgh cos Mendenhall coulda made a difference. Packers deserved it though.

Some of these Ortho and Neuro guys love putting someone under and cutting but I was lucky, I was referred to a supposed conservative neurosurgeon but I still found him a bit sh*t, they aren't very good at communicating I'm told, their best work is done when you're under but its a massive risk that I don't really want to take. Your back and spine are something you don't want people to open up and mess with.The Ortho guy I saw or 'muscloskeletal' specialist as he liked to be called was f*cked up, he attempted to use mainpulation without even sending me for an MRI and I really don't think he helped either, made things up as he went along. He was NHS referred.Best two guys were Osteopath and Physio, Osteopath was private but wasn't looking to extort and knew his stuff, it's just a shame the NHS don't support them as much. The Physiotherapist is helping me activate all my muscles, didn't think it'd be this hard but it has been. My strength is like a girls, that's how I feel.Any advice to improve my strength but with light weights and no squats or deadlifting?

No idea how I've managed to do this but I prolapsed a few discs in my lower back well over a year ago and its been uphill ever since - I think this is some of the worst pain I've ever experienced. One of the discs just won't heal and nerve pain is an absolute f*cker.Long story but I think it was made worse by GP advice to carry on as normal as they thought it was just a muscle pull. Usually takes about 6 weeks to heal from what I've been told but I seem to be unlucky.Unable to squat, deadlift or do any leg work for that matter, even worse I was unable to do the basic everyday things like sit on a chair, drive, move around freely for a long time. Still having a lot of problems.Anyone prolapsed a disc before? I advise anyone who feels any pain in their lower back or glutes to lay off weights. Also I've been told tight hamstrings can pull your back out of place.Surgery was always the final option but as each day passes it seems like it might have to be. Anyone ever had any experience? Any recommendations? I've seen a lot of 'specialists' with some very clueless.

My mate told me of someone who he works with got a Blackberry Curve 9300 for £5.00 a month, 500 mins, unlimited messages and Blackberry internet all because they said they were leaving. Though not the same price as an iphone it sounds llike customer retention is important to them at the moment.

Oh and every time I press the blackberry menu button I expect the home menu to open instead a scroll bar opens where you have to click 'open tray' to bring up the home menu, there must be certain tips and tricks for it. Just got to learn them now.

So far so good. It's smooth. Could be quicker but I suppose it's on a 256mb device so I should be happy RIM have come through rather than ignoring older device users as many thought they would. Still early days but I'm liking it, feels a bit more complicated but that's cos I'm so used to OS 5. Application memory left after install is 58mb, so not too bad. Will have a look at the browser over the next hour. Overall, worth installing but I'm not blown away by it, just think it's good. It's more complicated but that's to be expected and within a few days it'll be easy stuff I think.

I have loads of chat apps but all of them are sh*t. Blackberry to Blackberry, BBM obviously wins hands down. Blackberry ><Iphone, Whatsapp is just about the best but maybe worth checking out the one below. There's one called Cnectd that's meant to work with all the Smartphones. The previous version I downloaded worked okay for me and my friend on Android, but my boy on Iphone was complaining. Upside is its free if anybody wants to check it out, they've recently updated it so it might work better. http://home.cnectd.com/ Then another is Hello Messenger but that sucks, the BB version has been in beta for months and final release has been 'coming soon' since last year, I have the beta and the push doesn't always work, Iphone users can get through app store. Whatsapp has become pretty sh*t too. It was better when they didnt charge, now they're getting people to pay an annual subscription but the service has gone downhill. People aren't getting messages till days laters which is useless for an 'instant messenger'. There's a few more that are 'coming soon' as soon as they're released and if worth it I'll post about them. Oh and about Pingchat, its still in early stages, support is good but also doesn't always work.

Eks, updated OS's are dropping weekly, some I find are good some are quite sh*t. I've found that some of the ones recommended as 'most stable' and 'best releases' aren't always the best for my Bold 9700, they all vary. I still think the one I'm on now can have a few things fixed, like I get the hourglass appear a bit more than other releases, though it's something that doesn't bother me too much as I find it a more stable release than the last OS I had installed. I'm currently using 5.0.0.656 (linked below) and I used to hate auto open new messages when removed from holster, I switched it off and it worked for me, so maybe try updating? Try updating the OS to the one below through Apploader, but remember to delete vendor.xml and see if that works. If it doesn't use BSAK to completely erase everything off your blackberry then attempt a fresh install of the OS. I've never done this myself so can't say how easy/hard it will be but it seems straightforward from what I've read. My mate got it last week and he seems to like it. I personally prefer the look of the Touch HD and HD 2 but the screen is sharp and I think he said it has a 1 Ghz Snap Dragon processor, which he's impressed with. He got his as an Orange upgrade so the only thing he complains about is the Orange branded everything but he'll load a new ROM to fix that. Beside that he hasn't explored it fully, yet.
