If English players wern't such a rip off then maybe there would be a few more about.Someone needs to take a hard look at how players are valued, a good/outstanding/sh*t player from brazil needs to cost the same as a good/outstanding/sh*t player from nigeria, as a good/outstanding/sh*t player from England etcOtherwise managers without the endless supply of money are gonna go for the cheapest player, why the f*ck wouldn't they!?! they are running a business. I don't really think anyone can say United dont nuture home grown talent - they may have spent big on the recent additions but over the last 10 years or so they have given the home nations a ridiculous amount of talent.
