Spraying Mobile Phones

Ok i'm thinking of spraying my old samsung mobile phonewould i be right in priming it first as its black and i want to paint it a lighter colour, or can i just go ahead and spray it without sanding it down and priming it first (covers are smooth)

i read the title..1st i thought a phone that sprays bulletsthen a thought a phone that sprays water or somethingthen i came in here, read the 1st post then realised i wasted bare time and didn't carethen i typed this postpissed!
