menace-II-society Posted November 3, 2010 Report Share Posted November 3, 2010 I had virgin installed yesterday but can only use my laptop via ethernet cable, when i try and connect to the wireless it says i am connected but only have limited/local connectivity but i have a pc downstairs with a wireless stick and that works fine. any suggestions ??? You're more than likely getting an APIPA address which is why it's showing as connected but it's limited. Have you tried to do a repair on the adapter as it looks like your router's DHCP is not distributing your IP's properly. If after a repair / driver update you're still stuck then give it a fixed ip address in the range of your ip pool. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
