im pissed but at the same time happy im someone that will be working in animation and sites like this will not make my life easier but its kinda waste cos im sure there are bare of them and hittin on ONE is gonna make no real difference to the industry i feel that people that do busts on sites like this should be more consistent and stop it ALL THE TIME and ALWAYS be on alert not every so often or the rule will not be respected.

precisely my point
wont happenpeep thisDesparate Housewives in the US has 18 million viewers each week, for them to view just that that one week, the entire internet capacity will need to be tripled just to handle the TV shows, let alone the military infrastructure, communications, business infrastructure etc.18 mill people, watched a show thats say......... 100mb encodedthats a bandwitch of 1.8 billion mb which i cnt even b bothered to calculate but would be in the exabytes for that one hourthen factor in the hundreds of thousands of shows across the worldthe internet simply cant handle it AMS-IX one of the of the major internet exchanges in the world is already using double the bandwidth it was using last year just for internet bandwidth now (growth due to video sites etc) with is over 500 times the amount of data stored in all US research facilitiesYouporn uses 2TB of bandwidth everyday, so you can imagine youtube must be pullin in around 20 times that.the internet simply isnt capable of carrying that amount of data, its almost at full capacity as it isall the major UK ISP's had a consultation and most say they'll either fully block or restrict BBC's iPlayer coz they simply dnt have the bandwidth to carry itits just not as easy as it seemsunless the load is taken off the current internet backbone (IE using bandwidth freed up from the digital switchover's worldwide) it's just not a posibility at the momentthe internet wasnt built with this in mind and itll take a long time to upgrade the backbone to suffiently handle it

OKAY well i have used my ghetto analysis translater and i understandbut then this basically prooves my earlier point people should be monitoring this kind of thing more regular that way people wont be blaming the internet for loss of revenuejust like you dont want people to hop the busGET MORE INSPECTORS

the infrastrute is oldthink about it, when all the cables under the atlantic ocean and sh*t were laid down years ago they really werent thinkin about having enough bandwidth for youtube and torrents.all that needs to be upgraded, but itll be billions, along with the network switches at internet exchange points to handle more and more trafficits all long, itll cost them even more to get shows online, unless they find another waybut even if they use city wireless links, theres still normal ground ISPs that'll need to transfer that data through normal routes, itll releave it abit, but not a complete solution
