Posted November 15, 2007 Report Share Posted November 15, 2007 A mans just been proper BANGING on my door for about 5 mins pure ringing the bell and all sorts shouting "Can you let me in!!"So I looked out the peep hole and he had all letters etc, so I opened the door and he showed me this piece of paper and asked me if my name was Paresh Pakawara, i said "Do I look like my name is Paresh Pakawara?"Anyway, long story short, he didn't show me any I.D and then it turned out i had a license until March next year.Was this illegal? He basically forced his way in. or are they allowed to do this?No one can enter your home unless they are either; invited in, or hold a valid search warrant issued by a judge.They cannot prove from outside wether you have a TV or not unless you have a massive external ariel on your roof or a visiable satalite dish is in view.TV license does not get paid in my household and it never will be.
