PC/Laptop to TV

Mac is cool cos its DVI to HDMI so its high def (Digital 2 Digital)Im having issues getting a decent resolution on my TV when trying to use it as a monitor for my windows comp. I only have a yellow S-Video cable to one of the yellow RCA ports at the moment, and the best resolution I can get is 800x600. Fuzzy as fuk...What size is your TV? What cable are u using? How crisp is the quality?Any recommendations to obtain higher resolution images???? Ideally, I want to be able to mirror or better my current screen resolution without having to get a new graphics card really..

LCD/Plasma TV right? Surely you got a VGA out on the computer? jus use that..
