Nah he didn't BUT the lack of threat made him more confident and thus able to win in such a skillful manner.
:!: He was able to take risks knowing Marquez wasnt likely to hurt him. It may have also meant Marquez knew he couldnt do certain things (maybe try to physically rough him up) in case an OVERWEIGHT Mayweather landed
