Benicio del Toney
Quarter of the season gone Newcastle Still unbeaten Best defensive record Did anyone see this coming when they appointed Pardew? What do you think they can achieve this season?
Lieutenant
Injuries and better oppo will catch up with them. Will prob finish around 8th or 9th
Guest Portuguese
Jan is going to make and break them No Tiote/Demba Ba that's half of their spine. Injury to the best CB in the Prem then they are fucked In other words get Ben Arfa fit and hold it up until Tiote/Ba return and Colo stays fit add more additions 5th is them. Mame Biram Diouf
Not going to lie thought Pardew would make them finish just above relegation, bring in loads of average English players and we would all bump the Hughton topic and laugh. Couldn't have been even more wrong if I tried. Glad to see in last couple games Obertan has got a little bit more confidence, if they can get him playing he can be a real star for them fuck what everyone else says, he has that aura around him. If they bring in a midfielder, a striker and an experienced player they should be able to hold it up It has been very refreshing to see them up there But Everton are due to pick up form in a few weeks so the next 2 months should be interesting, can them swapping form eventually and finishing in similar places

Kompressor
Pardew in the short term did good things at West Ham, so its not a total shock, but as always time will tell, the fact that this is the first time in ages that a Newcastle team went into a season with no crippling expectation can't go a miss. the next three games are also very tough, They haven't played any of the big boys yet so........
TF S4DK
Amazed. However I think its the worse thing that can happen, as when Pardew ego gets stroked & bigger, well problems lie ahead.

scared of who?
All about this guy. Scouting over the past 3 years has been top notch. Pardew has done well, says the right things to the press, the players and values the Geordie support. However I have no doubt that Hughton would have done just as good a job. Like the Portuguese don said, with Tiote and Colo at the spine of the team, you cant really fail.
