Vtec and Local hit the nail on the head. I could go deeper into how racial fetishisation is the root of racism. From dehumanising black men and women whilst emasculating Asians, to how Eurocentric “beauty” is portrayed as an endagered species to promote fear. That cross pollination creating stronger genetics is a myth though. But I’ve got to have a late dinner so I may come back and add my two cents on this later.

Exactly. Who was successful? The people who take the bait to complain about the advert or the marketing team in the Heneiken offices, who are laughing at all the free publicity this have given them? Too many people react on emotion and not common sense. This is why we can never come together on a common purpose when we get trolled so easily. Like you said, it wouldn’t even make it to the drawing board of it even implied anti-semitism or homophobia. Ken Livingstone calls Hitler a Zionist and he’s ostracised out of politics because he refuses to apologise. I agree with both of these posts. Which group is the most active on social media? From what I’ve seen, black people in the 18-30 demographic are. There’s a reason there’s “black twitter.” One bit of outrage and it’s easy to start trending via black twitter. Which group is the most disenfranchised economically and socially? You guessed it. So what that means is maximum publicity with minimum repercussions. They wouldn’t dare try this with the Jewish or LGBT community because those groups have economic power and clout. With us, they know we’ll forget about it and go back to drinking their poison a few days later. Every single time these morons on social media fall for it. From H&M to Gap... no one black is boycotting these companies despite the disrespect they continue to show. If there’s one thing you can say about Chance, is that he doesn’t let irony get in the way of his stupidity.

It’s been nine months and still: No official death numbers. No one has been charged or held accountable for negligence. Not everyone has been re-housed. Grafter is right... we need to keep our foot on their neck. This is a clear display of class/wealth bias. Everyone in that tower who’s dead and who have survived have been treated like crap. The lack of urgency is a disgrace. NO ONE should get away with this with their hands clean. By the time this “inquiry” Is finished, the people who should be jailed would’ve resigned/been sacked by then with a nice pay off. They’ll get a slap on the wrist at most. Do you think if something like this happened in a wealthy/gated community, an inquiry would take this long? It’s obvious they’re trying to cover their tracks and make sure there’s as much damage control as possible. An absolute disgrace.

I agree with most of this post, but especially what I’ve underlined. I’ve said it before that the black community (at least in the UK) is a myth. When I see/hear guys (not exclusively but commonly) talk about black empowerment but knocking up overweight Beckies, I simply have to laugh. The reality is, too many black men have self hate issues and it manifests itself in who these particular black men choose to lay up with and impregnate. If you want to cross over then cool, it’s your life. But don’t try and raise your mixed breeds as pro-black, just causing them more confusion. The only woman I’ll choose to marry and have children with will be black. If anyone doesn’t like it or somehow perceives it as “racist” is a lost fool. There’s nothing racist about wanting to marry/pro-create within your own culture.

Someone I kick ball with is not someone I’m familiar enough with to lecture them. If some guy I have a kick about with tried to tell me about myself, I’d have to check him too. Friends, family, of course you lecture them. If they ain’t about shit, it’s your job to slap some sense into them. Do you really think a guy you barely know off the field is gonna take what you say seriously?

Unless it’s your friends or family, I don’t see the point in trying to lecture a man about his ways. If I’m kicking ball with some lads, I’m not gonna involve myself in their domestic issues. Wasteman or not, it’s not your place to tell someone you’re not familiar with about themselves. You’re probably not very tactful since that’s two guys that’s try to come for you when you’re on your Steve Wilkos flex. Seems like those attempted swingers were warranted.

There is “nothing” wrong with London? Ok, I’m not going to even challenge someone with that point of view if you truly believe that. As far as calling them “selfish parents” for moving their children to Bath, that’s a very parochial way of thinking. You don’t know their motivations were for doing so. It could’ve been due to work, family, a myriad of reasons. Now I personally wouldn’t move to Bath or raise my children there but it’s more selfish to raise your children in an environment where they’re more exposed to violence like London is. I don’t get this “selfish” mentality because someone wants better for their children. If you feel there’s “nothing” wrong in London then you can continue to bury your head in the sand.
