i dont even like RnB but this tune is on point
  3. XXL Mag recently released an issue with the top 10 up and coming rappers of 2009, and well to be honest with you, a few of their pics are suspect. Here what XXL’s list looks like (with my opinion of the artist) :Wale - Well deserving, Wale has been touring and the country and growing his fan base rapidly, he definately deserves to be on the list.Asher Roth - This kid must have some damn good connections in the industry, because aside from his ‘a millie’ freestyle, dude is a cornball.B.O.B - From what I’ve heard he is ok, not big enough to be deserving of the “Top Ten” in my opinion.Mickey Factz - Mickeys is riding that “new wave” of hip hop, the club-hop it should be called. I can see why he’s in the top ten for his creativity.Cory Gunz - Cory Gunz should have been on this list two years ago when he dropped ‘The Apprentice’ series of mixtapes. Cory is 100% deserving of being in the top ten.Blu - He’s dropped a couple of ‘decent’ records. Again, not deserving of the top ten.Curren$y - Currensy has a huge following in the south, alot of people including myself are feeling what he brings to hip hop, he’s deserving of the top 10.Charles Hamilton - I still dont know what the buzz is on this dude, besides being an odd, sonic loving, pink tee wearing, wanna be Kanye West…. he’s not that hot.Ace Hood - Ace has been brought up through Khaled’s annoying ass so of course people are going to know his name, is he a hot artist….. kind of. Still alot he needs to prove.Kid Cudi - I just took notice to this kid a few weeks ago when he dropped the “day n nite remix” with Jim Jones. He’s got his own swag, he speaks his mind on records. He too has alot to prove yet, but so far im feelin his movement.——————————————–XXL Snubs: Nino Bless, Wiz Khalifa, Big Lou, Gemstones, Joell Ortiz, The Cool Kids, Uncle Murda, DrakeIf I missed anyone on the Snubs (snubs = should have been on the list) let me know…..**Update** - Ocassionally I browse the comments and you guys got me cracking up. Some if you saying Crooked I and Joe Budden…. Crooked I has been in the game since he was signed to Death Row with Pac, Budden since ‘99, Ransom since ‘03. Come on hip hop heads….

when i see lemar, tao cruz and jay sean videos am i the only one who just feels like jumping out the top floor window?its supposed to be RnB yet they always have such depressing videos? always sitting on some mountain, cant dance, half slow mo movements, and sound so dead. none of these guys are 30 yet thats the worse thing.. yet it feels like im watching an old veteran crooner like Lionel ritchie, and if i was for him its understandable considering his age in the game. or should this be in the venting thread?
  9. Just had one listen, but this sounds pretty good! Unexpected sound, considering it's 2 guys from indie bands (1 from Vampire Weekend & another from Ra-Ra Riot)Right-click-save-as:http://www.transparentblog.com/file_downlo...range+Shirt.mp3Thoughts?

Doubt she falls in the rnb category, more a reggaton (sp) category maybe , im not to sure but nevertheless i felt that this topic would get more replys if posted in this room.i personally think ' run the show ' is a big track, i prefer the spanish version though which features don Omarhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pvwy8MdUB64 - Busta features on the English VersionWine up was also a nice summer track. ( spanish version , Elephant man also features on it )Once again i prefer the spanish version rather than the English VersionNot really feeling the track that she features on with Omarion ' cut off time ' though What are your thoughts on her ?

  20. are there any good rnb albums out? I heard Alicia Keys album which was nice.
  21. Most prob seen the vid before but as the title suggests, listen when I speak. I was hyping Mavado for a reason. I could see that he would eventually break out of the genre and become a superstar. Obviously, there is a level of where he can reach but man is an underground superstar. Not just that but they didnt choose a rapper to do it, they chose a DANCEHALL artist.People been hyping about I chat sh*t, not even just Gene Kelly 'cause he coulda been joking but next man that seem to have that idea in their head need to seckle. Like lets be real for a split second, there really aint many people on this site that make predictions like I do. Only man I can say that really say anything to me is TF.On a real, the defamation needs to stop! It's not true people. I make bold predictions and when they come to pass I get no props but as soon as it turns out wrong people wanna jump on the bandwagon that I chat sh*t. How can it be chatting sh*t when your making a prediction that turns out wrong? Chatting sh*t IMO is chatting things that dont make sense or on past events that arent correct, making a bold prediction that turns out wrong is not chatting sh*t.I wont even bring up the Akon and Em, but saying RnB > HipHop the year before HH sales had their biggest slump in sales history is superb reading of whats going to happen. Saying UK urban/pop > US and people like Corrine Bailey, Amy Wino, Estelle getting signed and Leona going number one, Alicia Keys - No One will be her biggest hit and her album going on to sell 3x plat. amongst others, Musiq was better than Fabolous amongst others. I'm not sure if I hyped Lil Wayne on here but in real life I was so I wont count that. So yeah, just a little hype topic. Bit of banter for the weekendp.s. watch out for continuous bumps
  22. anyone heard this?feeling this one for an rnb bangerEdit: track uploadedhttp://www.zshare.net/audio/9694784cd22f74/
