Liefield and Nicieza were the creators on New Mutants.Ryan Reynolds said he wants to do the Deadpool movie though. Which is pretty spot on. Look around on net for older comics and try to research popular character histories. I do not read DC comic books with the exception of batman legends so I cannot help you there. Reed Richards noticed the storm was the same as the one which turned them into the fantastic four and noticed it was an intelligent communication and went to it.
