My educational and political movement is moving forward fast and effectively.I was appointed as 'course representative' in my first month. In my second month I was appointed as 'forum representative' to represent all student reps on behalf of the adult college, and finally, in my 3rd month, I have recently been elected as 'Student Governer' for the whole of Lewisham College. Both Deptford and Lewisham campus'. This is a governing body of 17 people to which 15 members are non-student and 2 members are students within the college and play a massive role in how the college is run and where the money is allocated. This year I should be meeting the Prime minister and also attending parliament to see how things are done. With another yout on the way aswell, these past few months have been very enjoyable. I'm loving life right now.Hang tight those that called me a bum and thought that I could not get anywhere with my life. To the haters - F U
You're never going to be anything in politics. Im not saying that to boy you its the ultimate truth. This is as far as you're going.
he's right, working class= not gonna happen my friend
Well I believe it is a time for change. It's time for the abolishment of plutocracy and no matter what many might think or say, I believe I can meet the target of getting into government one day. I am not your average rich boy who attended a grammar school, but I am a person who comes from a society of everyday people and having first class witnessed what it is like to struggle and this is where I believe my political status in time will be a most valued position; sure I might not be Prime minister, but I will however be involved somewhere along the line, fighting for the politics in which I believe.

Ashman, as a course representative myself I know you are obviously under the illusion that it is a hard to get position. People don't want to do it as it means extra work and you're going on like you were appointed because of some special skill you have.Get a grip lad.Nobody wants to do those jobs, It's like getting a job as a sewer worker. All the course rep thing is good for is your cv. Stop with the unnecessary cockyness lad.
Exactly, no-one wanted to be class rep in my course, why bother with random meetings that take you out of class?! Its not about being behind with a course because of that nonsense.
Well the thing is, I am not only class representative but I am also forum representative and student governor. I am well ahead in my class, even with these roles and I believe anyone who sees' these roles as "anything", is just simple minded and slow in ambition.I do not go to college to chat to friends, listen to music on my iPod, come in late and not put 100% into my course.I go to college to achieve and make movements for my future.maybe when others can be as optimistic, they might be able to boast themselves of their own personal achievements.
