well if u consider espada 10-5 aint vasto lordes turning one into a aranacer would automaticly give him a place about all them regardless of a test or not

hmmm. None of the espada have been confirmed as VL, but they showed how wonderwice has born/ became arrancar so he must play some importance.Its possible that Aizen just didnt give him a rank, makes no sense though.
