Used Crucial scanning system and it came out with: "We're sorry.Crucial currently does not have any compatible upgrades available for your particular system. If you have questions or would like further support, please contact our support department."I could still install a Kingston stick right, just means they can't find one that's recommended? Also how do I find out which type I need, e.g. DDR2 etc....

pc310028to8.jpgThis ain't RAM slot is it?, only opening I have on the underneath.
that is the slot where the ram goes!!although you should already have at least ONE stick of RAM in there, even if it is only 64 MB lolbut there should be a slot underneath where there is already one stick of RAM

That's what I thought, I do already have other RAM in obviously but I haven't got a clue where it is and I need to remove it when I upgrade.I read that when I buy the new RAM the speed of the old RAM will hold the speed of the new RAM back 'cause they run parallel.Just to find out what type I need now then I'm off to get it and a new HDD.

When people should leave the computer work to the proffesionals.. (like me self) Vol 1 through 999999 biggrin.gifThe reason why you cant see the already installed memory is because that's more than likely underneath the keyboard. & you cant remove it. You can only add more to it. & I bet you the maximum you can add is probably 512MB.Next tip, whats the model number of your Easynote.. You got a system tag for it?
