franmerida090108_ES.jpgIñaki Badiola issued yesterday by a note that he wished to clarify that the contract assigning Fran Merida only be counted as encounters played by the Arsenal footballer ceded by those who participate in a minimum of 45 minutes. This means that, to date, contractual effects, it would have disputed Merida only one party, which completed in Castellon, as it has in the five remaining disputed half an hour or less. The issue for the Catalan player is particularly relevant because if Merida disputase sixteen parties in the period assigned to stay in Real, the club txuri urdin would not have to pay anything for the loan, issue almost impossible at this stage. With sixteen encounters by fighting Fran Merida would play 45 minutes or more, almost all, and today, we enter the 'eleven' owner is very expensive. If the results continue to arrive, the role of the promising mid-would simply enter the second part. Thus, the Royal would have to pay a certain amount, depending on party - to-play service, it would be more or less. The presence of Merida on the team has already gone to less that while in its first three parties played 150 minutes (only in Castellón was owner and played around the crash), in the last three has only played 22 minutes
So if things aren't sorted out the loan could be scrapped with Arsenal left annoyed because they was hoping this loan would get him experience.

I'll just post something from another blog.

Arsenal have arranged a meeting with Real Sociedad chairman Iñaki Badiola, over the loan agreement with the Spanish outfit for play-maker Fran Merida Perez.Fran was loaned to the Segunda club in January until the the end of the season, and had started and been involved in the first few games until Badiola sacked manager Chris Coleman and installed José Ramón Eizmendi in charge, since then he has only been involved in the final few minutes of games something Arsene Wenger is furious about.Spanish news-wire Elmundo Deportivo reports a meeting will take place in London next week between Badiola, and Wenger with Arsenal threatening to cancel the deal should they not accept a clause which would mean Fran must play at least 45 minutes of future fixtures, unless the club can prove he is unable to, via injury or otherwise.Merida (17) is rated extremly highly by all the Arsenal coaching staff, and despite recent media reports, he will return to London in the summer and be involved in the first team plans, the loan was supposed to have helped develop relations between the two sides, with a view to possibly sending more prospects there but with the club failing to play Fran to a level where he can gain experience and further devlop, these plans looks in doubt.http://youngguns.wordpress.com/2008/03/01/...-loan/#comments
