presume u guys know this film was a adaptaton from joseph conrads heart of darkness,which accounts for some of why its long winded and textual but its definitely a zany film nonetheless,evry man was on lsd wen they made it tbh,martin sheen is a joker with that opening scene,bare zany jokers inside mite watch the redux again one day,cant remember how long this took to make or how much it cost but the production was plagued with chaotic happenings cant remember wer i read about it maybe that book 'easy,riders,raging bulls by peter biskind,which is recomended reading for fans of 70s qinema,but it was well worth making it imo the film was a success afaicid say its top 5 nam films, theyre all big,but platoon>>>>>>hamburger hill>>>>>__________
