Bruh. I didnt neg for that. @ Yuri

Neg'd because of your constant repetitions of how backwards the Africans are and how "west" is always doing something that is good for the world.

Did you grow up reading Capt America or suttin.

We can see the state of Africa, no need for you to go about it all the time.

Plus the west wasn't even mentioned in this thread.

Africa would be a whole different place if it wasnt for slavery and colonialism

Probably. Would be a worse place most likely.

Cool resonse brah. Do you even know what you're talking about, or is that just your knee-jerk reaction to "racists" who don't think Africa was a paradise pre-colonialism.

Colonialism has undeniably had some significant negative effects on the way subsaharan states have developed over the last few decades, but trying to pin the blame for everything on the west is just a cop-out. Take Zambia for example: it's been a republic for 50 years or so and remains extremely poor and without resources such as railways, despite being extremely rich in things like copper deposits. So how is it that their main railroad was built by the Chinese, and that the wealth of resources available are being extracted not by the Zambian government, but by the Chinese?

because slavery still exists under the form of extreme capitalism.

You think these guys wouldnt make money from their own resources if they could?!?!

All that happens is these big european countries and america come in and take out the natural resources and pay next to nothing for them. And its not just a case of these aff countries should say no/charge more they are already indebted to these countries who turn round and say to them we are going to give you £10 for that resource that we both know is worth £500 down the line. If you say no we want that £500 million aid loan we gave you back now. Also a lot of these countries main exports are funded by other countries, say one countries main export is sugar, the powers that be simply say ok then, if you dont play along with us on this. We will stop buying sugar from you or we will cut the amount of money we are lending you which we know is what you're using to produce the sugar.

The ways the world works is just a massive cycle of exploitation and the way the games been set up. Africa is the continent getting raped the most

All this is true. The IMF f*ckED with a lot of African countries - bullied them into installing economic systems that opened them up to get raped etc.

But there are massive internal problems in a lot of African states as well that prevent them from developing

I don't think anyone denies that within African countries, African leaders etc need to take responsibility for some of the problems that they have caused.

But, a lot of these problems, particularly ones over certain tribal groups being the ruling powers all stem from colonial powers cutting up the continent willy nilly, installing certain groups into power and belittling other groups.

A lot of the problems people claim are holding african countries back are present here in the Western world, it's just they are magnified in Africa because there is so much less money in the system. People scream about corruption and all the top african guys who are rich whilst others starve. Its exactly the same here, just our version of the bottom is very different to the bottom in Africa. It's not human nature to share everything equally. Everyone wants to have more than their neighbour. It's unfair to say if Africans shared the wealth or their systems were more efficient everything would be ok because thats not the main problem and we all know that, the main problem is the superpowers have put measures in place that will not allow continents like Africa to grow and do well without their approval.

I actually wasn't talking about corruption, believe me I am well aware that entrenched corruption is not a phenomenon restricted to Africa.

For one, the concept of a nation-state has never really seemed to take of in Africa, outside of a few exceptions. Instead you just get contries with different ethnic groups who are unable to get along. So whichever group ends up being in power has no interest in providing economic development for the other groups, e.g. Zimbabwe. And you can say "well if the British hadn't divided up the countries with no regard to the different tribes it wouldn't be like this" but why is this still a problem 60 years later?

And when you have other former colonies that don't seem to be so restricted by the shackles of colonialism it does suggest that there are other factors at work

Your ancestors were neatnderthals living in caves when Africa had civilization, Europe was in such a bad state in thos times that your queen was thought to be clean for bathing two times every year, while Africans were building grand buildings from Timbuktu to Nubia, without the moorish presence and colonialism Europeans would still be f*ck*ng animals.

coz the crackas built south africa

no whites in south africa = a place jus like the f*ckin congo

even in such a semi civilised country the black violence there is incredible...

crackas built rhodesia too... soon asa black man gets in control = country brought to its knees

as much as a i respec mugabe for trashing whites and sending them packing its beyond the pale what he did to zimbabwes economy

Crackas built a place comfortable for themselves, they completely ignored the black majority who lived in the country, to be honest i don't consider the fact that whites basically turned Zimbabwe and South Africa to resort homes for their cancerous skin as building up the country, tespecially when the majority of the population is living in abject poverty.

True, but the institutions that are in place because of it (e.g. the way the black South African government is able to extract diamonds) are the reason they're in better shape (for now) than other places

Abstract? Do you mean abject?

why is South Africa more like, financially successful (?) than most African countries?

I see where your going with this, but the black peoples who live in South Africa are no different from the peoples who live in a lot of other African countries, there is still great poverty amongst the black majority.

why is South Africa more like, financially successful (?) than most African countries?

It won't be for much longer, if they keep electing moronic corrupt rapists to run the country.

Im just thinking why SOuth Africa itself seems miles ahead to other Sub Saharan countries

does seem like a race thing tbh but I dont know much to draw that conclusion.

I aint even mad just tryin to put all these pieces in place, dont even know what to blame
