its funny how things work out - she was just another singer on the glasgow circuit, goin by her first name, Adele.  performed a lot at the same events as my ex that a group of my friends organised.  then one day she had an album launch for some indie she was signed to and the place was mobbed...industry heads etc....but the music was boring.  very slow and weird jazzy stuff.

 

i remember saying shes a great singer but she needs to liven it up a bit.

 

ironically my ex is better looking, and at the time made more interesting music (funk/soulmotown vibe)

 

fast forward a bit and she hooked up with this guy naughty boy and disappeared to london.  some sort of song writing contract we heard, then boom does the hook for chipmunk but they cast a different female for the video - par

 

anyway we know where she is now

 

and last i hear my ex is still grafting away on the local circuit.  i bet shes pissed.  andrew asamoah from sony contacted her once and said something like you have a great sound and style but i just signed someone exactly like you (lightly with curly hair with a funky vibeetc).  never found out who that was tbh.
