Not much of a fan of his but Sol is so clear 'ratings' from us means little to nothing. TBH his wifey is impressively ambitious and rich. Probably richer than him considering her family name. 

 

She and Sol own Hallington Hall, a Georgian mansion in Northumberland, while their London base is a large period flat overlooking the river in the smartest part of Chelsea. Inside, it’s a haven of elegant, contemporary luxury: antique chairs upholstered in textured suede, linen curtains suspended over shimmery fabrics, glass vases with metal spiked collars, 1970s lamps and modern art. 

 

From reading about her she's down to earth and has worked hard to get were she was as her grandfather was all about her and her brothers learning and making it on their own skills. 

 

As for Sol as Mayor, I would actually like to see him at a hustings to see how he handles that.

Who is her family???

 

 

Her grandfather was Sir Lawrence Barratt who was of the founders of Barratt Developments. Probably best known for Barratt Homes.
