Could this be the year we see a player other than the big 2 win the Ballon d'Or? - no other player has won it since Kaka 2007. 

We're a quarter through the year, I am aware it's still early but a lot can happen in the next few weeks.

As of April 18th*

Messi - 45 goals in 44 games, though he could end up with 1 trophy this year - Copa Del Rey final v Alaves in June.

CR7 - 28 goals in 37 games. Favourites to win La Liga &  CL - another La Decima?

 

Argentine Wonderkid - Seria A wrapped, Coppa Italia Final in June, still in CL - could he inspire Juve to a treble this year? or a first CL trophy for the club since 1996? 

 

Captain Ramos - Favourites to win La Liga and CL, instrumental in big games, could he be the first defender to win it since Cannavaro in 2006?

 

Polish Assassin - 38 goals in 40 games this year - Bundesliga wrapped, still in all cup competitions for his club.  Another player capable of winning the treble this year

 

Young Killa - 21 goals in 35 apps.  favourites to win Ligue 1 w/ Monaco - first time since 2000.  Still in CL. Lighting it up on the big stage (League & CL) if he continues this incredible form,wins the league and champions league with Monaco in 2017 - should he win it?

 

King Ney - can he put in another great comeback performance for his club in coming weeks? Win the league and CL - the odds are not in his favour but its still possible 

 

 

The Most Underrated Player in the World - there is no denying Thiago's talent, can he put in a major shift tonight at the Bernabeu?  could win the treble with his team in 2017. 

 

 

Prince Kane -  could a madness happen? =   everyone above including Chelsea bottling it, Kane inspire Spurs to a title since 1961? 25 goals in 31 games

 

Or anyone else??
