avon is in pen bruv season 4, nothing happens with them focus switches to the kids marlo chris snoopand yeah scared of who stringer also snitched to the feds. his name was on the statement when avon got caught with the guns he also got played by clay davis and others, still avon coulda gave the order n marlo would be dead they had him slipping in the rim shop I think people vilify Stringer for completly the wrong reasons when it comes down to him taking to the feds. While Stringer shouldn't have snitched he had only two choices snitch or kill Avon. Stringer had the click on the verge on being untouchable by the feds with all their drug being tied in to real estate etc and Avon was f*cking it up with a war against Marlo that a) he didn't need and he realistically would have probably lost. Nearly all of Avon's muscle were either locked up or dead, his dealers had sh*t product to the point where String had to go to Prop Joe and Avon to Bro Mouzone to stop his blocks getting took. On top of that Avon went to war when String, along with Prop Joe could have probably bought Marlo into the coop from season 3. Avon made his position perfectly clear in season 3 when he said "im just a gangsta i suppose" that dude loves the thrill of the chase and the risks it brings, you saw how amped he was in the barksdale hideout after he got blasted by Chris, and ultimately that where String had to make a decision - Avon was becoming a liabilty. String might be a snake but Avon ain't really no better. He sold his boy out just so he could keep his connect to NY through Brother Mouzone; something that in the end never materialised.
